About me, George Lober, founder of Wellness Softworks and creator of the software
Originally trained as an electronics technician, my work experience of over 26 years mostly consists of jobs in the telecommunications, computer and business products service industries.
In regards to computers I do carry A+ certification, and while I do have some exposure to programming training, the majority of my programming skills are self taught.
My interest in nutrition originates from my own problems with weight gain. As a teenager and in my early 20's I was not overweight. As I got older my weight gradually crept up, and later on, going back 10 years or so, my weight gain started to increase at an alarming rate. It was at time that I decided to get serious about things and started my interest in dieting and nutrition.
With taking care with what I was eating and being aware of the calorie content of foods, I was able to loose enough weight to bring me back to what I weighed in my early 20's.
To this day I consciously watch what eat and as a result have no weight problems. I practice what I preach and when it comes dieting I am a strong believer in being knowledgeable about one's diet and nutrition.
